​Katie Emma O'Neill is a multi-genre photographer living and working within the UK, specialising in portraiture and documentary photography. 

From  a young age she has always participated in the arts; from theatre to drawing and painting, eventually taking up photography throughout her high school years. Being able to photograph people and document modern issues allows her to open the audiences eyes and highlight subjects which are often hidden.

Her exploration into this side of photography began in 2016, when she started at college. Whilst practising there for two years she was able to be involved in numerous projects; from a college lead project by her tutor, "Greater Mancunians," to being asked to photograph at proms. She has had work featured in exhibitions in Manchester and London.

Now having graduated from Falmouth University, she works full time at The Manchester College and UCEN as a photography specialist technician, offering support to students and tutors. In her spare time she continues to build up her photography portfolio in a range of styles. She is also currently undergoing her PGCE qualification.
